Principles of moral education in Islam

Abstract

Moral education is one of the important aspects of Islamic education and has always been the focus of religious leaders and they have emphasized this aspect of education. In this article, an attempt has been made to discuss the principles of moral education in the educational life of the Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH). Therefore, with this question in hand, what are the principles of moral education from the perspective of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH)? We went to the written sources and after describing the contents related to the topic, we analyzed them. The principle of God-centeredness, the principle of collectivism, the principle of asceticism, the principle of moderation, the principle of action and persistence, the principle of care and opposition to ego, the principle of heresyism, the principle of gradualism, the principle of dignity, the principle of humility, the principle of fear and hope, and the principle of cultivating moral thinking among the principles Moral education is in the educational life of the Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), which is discussed in this article.
