Abstract

The phenomenological approach of understanding requires understanding how understanding occurs and how to improve understanding. We have two types of understanding: presence (existential) understanding, which is based on submerging our existence in absolute existence; The second source of our knowledge is the understanding of acquisition, which in this kind of knowledge belongs to our knowledge of essences (and not existence). The necessity of the new idea is that any understanding, even the understanding of existence itself, is based on understanding what understanding itself is; Therefore, before any knowledge about existence, it is necessary to first deal with the phenomenology of understanding itself. The implications of the phenomenology of understanding in the field of education and training can be exploited both in the field of innovating teaching techniques and in the field of training.
