The role of the mother in the emotional and moral upbringing of the child

Abstract

Mother has a fundamental role in raising children, but in this article, only the role of mother in emotional and moral education of children is highlighted. This research has been done with documentary method and contextualization method using questionnaire and interview tool in several universities in Afghanistan. In order to obtain an Islamic point of view, Islamic sources and the views of Muslim thinkers were referred to their works, and after this examination and analysis, the Islamic point of view was deduced. In order to obtain the psychologists' point of view, psychology books were referred to, and in order to use the field method, a questionnaire was distributed among several students and siblings, and a survey was conducted to find out their opinion as fathers, mothers or educated children. Investigate the role of a mother in raising a child. The findings of the research showed that the mother has a more prominent role in raising a child than the father and other educators in all fields of education. Therefore, care must be taken in choosing future mothers. Mothers also have more and more important duties regarding the upbringing of their children that they must know and act on; Because the society depends on the future children and the future children depend on the upbringing of the mother and the family. As a result, a healthy society depends on conscientious mothers with an important educational role.
