Informative theory and motivation in learning and academic progress are two important concepts in educational psychology. The theory of news processing pays attention to the process of information processing in the human brain, and by understanding the process of news processing, humans can strengthen their skills in this field. On the other hand, motivation is the most important factor in academic progress and successful learning. Motivation is an internal force that encourages people to guide and try to achieve their goals, and as a result, it leads to better learning and academic progress. This research is done as a case study and the method of collecting information is in the form of a library. In this research, the theory of news reporting, motivation, learning and academic progress has been discussed, and as a result, it can be stated that by combining the theory of news reporting and creating motivation, one can experience significant learning and academic progress. Understanding the news processing process and using appropriate motivational strategies, including proper planning and setting, using effective learning methods and continuous practice, can help improve academic performance and progress in learning.
